Scottish Physical Activity Research Collaboration (SPARColl)

The Scottish Physical Activity Research Collaboration (SPARColl) is based at the University of Strathclyde. The collaboration is funded by the Scottish Government until December 2010 and managed by NHS Health Scotland. SPARColl aims to promote excellence in research and provide an evidence base relating to physical activity and health, with a focus on walking. Sally Macintyre was on the collaboration’s international review board, and Anne Ellaway is now a member of the advisory group.
