SEED development, pilot and trial studies
We contributed to the design and evaluation plan of a programme to promote emotional and social well-being among Scottish primary school children, Social and Emotional Education and Development (SEED). It is currently being evaluated using a cluster Randomised Controlled Trial design. This project is a collaboration between two Unit programmes: Evaluating the Health Effects of Social Interventions, and Children, Young People, Families and Health, as well as researchers at the Universities of Stirling, Glasgow and Strathclyde, and educational psychologists in Dundee and Glasgow. Further details of the trial and pilot studies can be found on the SEED project page.
